POSITION SUMMARY

We’re seeking a Recruiter to join our team! You’ll be responsible for sourcing, pre-screening and onboarding new Team Members for various positions to support our students.  This position is 32 hours/week.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Posts open positions on SEC’s website and various external job sources/websites.
· Pre-screens responses to determine if applicants meet qualifications
· Coordinate and facilitate candidate interviews
· Schedules all applicant interviews
· Handles all inquiry recruitment calls from prospective employees
· Manages and facilitates background/reference checks for selected candidates
· Reviews background checks results and advises Hiring Managers as necessary
· Prepares offer letters
· Onboards new hires and ensures that all required documents are reviewed and signed.
· Tracks advertisement responses and expiration dates. Re-post advertisements on internet sites as needed
· Participates in meetings with management to review open positions and hiring status.
· Sets up and maintains all employee files
· Provides exceptional levels of customer service to candidates, hiring managers, and Team Members

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years’ previous experience working in a Human Resources department
  • Knowledge of Human Resources policies is preferred
  • Familiar with posting positions on various recruiting websites and social media
  • Previous experience with Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Experience recruiting in healthcare field, especially nursing, preferred
  • Experience in the Postsecondary Education sector is desirable
  • Professionalism and integrity in handling confidential information
  • Exceptional organization skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with students, staff, faculty, and the public
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer literacy skills in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, and Outlook
