OVERVIEW:

Responsibilities are to teach students the skills needed to work in healthcare organizations, hospitals, clinics, medical offices and health maintenance organizations. This program covers areas such as:

POSITION SUMMARY:

The role of the faculty is to effectively communicate with the students and help them achieve their educational goals.

Faculty at North-West College are responsible for supporting student success by creating an optimum learning environment, responding to student needs, managing effective instructional activities, developing curriculum courses, modeling employability skills, demonstrating professionalism, developing cooperative work relationships with other faculty and staff, supporting college administrative requirements, and maintaining competency in their instructional field. He/she will be responsible for quality instruction and for effective participation of the students.

The faculty maximizes retention of students toward the completion of their programs and provides a fostering and proper educational environment so that the students may derive the maximum benefits from the program for which they are enrolled in.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
  • Appropriate professional experience
  • English grammar instruction for students with help, rules and practice including worksheets, exercises, quizzes, tense usage, grammar guides and charts, lesson plans, exceptions and variations in different forms of English.
  • English teaching/Math teaching and psychology teaching at least 15 credits in this area.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Public speaking
  • 3 Years of experience as a instructor
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration
  • part time 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
