POSITION SUMMARY
The Executive Assistant provides support to the President or other executives, including a wide range of administration, general support, and analysis duties of a highly responsible and confidential nature. Has regular exposure to confidential material and requires a great deal of professionalism, discretion, and integrity in dealing with internal and external contacts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Screens visitors and acts as liaison between the executive and employees of Success Education Colleges (SEC), clients, and all external contacts.
  • Answers telephone, screens and refers calls to the appropriate person, takes messages, responds to highly diversified inquiries from management, employees, and the general public; and provides courteous and efficient responses.
  • Arranges and coordinate meetings and events
  • Coordinates a variety of projects as assigned.
  • Drafts and type’s letters, memos, and various reports.
  • Maintains accurate records and files.
  • May be required to process and track invoices and budget expenses.
  • Maintains manager's schedule, appointments and travel arrangements and independently schedules meetings.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
  • Must be able to multitask.

QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
  • Knowledge of standard office administrative practices and procedures.
  • Problem-solving, analytical skills and the ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously are essential.
  • Attention to detail and mental concentration are necessary for accurately performing tasks and tolerating frequent interruptions.
  • Demonstrated Computer literacy skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook at least 5 years of strong computer skills.
  • Demonstrated skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with students, staff, faculty, and the public.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are required.
  • Ability to work in a high level task position.
  • Able to come in at starting office hours, or later depending on the presidents schedule, will also assist the Vice President as well.
  • Able to work under a high demand position.
 EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Some college, secretarial school, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years or more experience providing administrative support at the executive level required
  • Experience in the Post-secondary Education Sector preferred or university
  • Requires a little travel from time to time
